About project
In order to promote the mission, goals and objectives of the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, interfaith harmony and the development of interreligious dialogue, the N. Nazarbayev Center for the Development of Interfaith and Intercivilizational Dialogue initiated the creation of an electronic library of religious texts, materials of the Congresses and Secretariats, their participants, partners, representatives of international organizations, government and public figures, scientists and experts. The purpose of creating an electronic library is to facilitate the mission of the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, promote interfaith harmony, and implement the Concept of Development of the Congress for 2023-2033.
The electronic library will become an important source of information for the study of religion, a tool for the development of interreligious dialogue, and a valuable resource for researchers. The book collection of the electronic library of the Center consists of materials provided by our partners, such as the Research Center for Islamic History, Art and Culture (IRCICA), the Doha International Center for Interreligious Dialogue, the Center for Islamic Civilizations under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the International Islamic University of Islamabad, the International Kazakh-Turkish University named after Khoja Ahmed Yasawi, the Institute of Philosophy, Political Science and Religious Studies of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Also presented are the works of leaders of world and traditional religions, materials of religious associations, the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Kazakhstan, Bahai, the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of St. Mary in Astana, the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Kazakhstan, etc.
